Mythwar is a 2d MMORPG developed by IGG. The game features 2D, cel-shaded characters with a very nice drawing style. While the environments are played in an isometric point of view, they have some perspective and depth to them.
The game is very team- and pet-oriented, which is not a bad thing at all, because the people on the servers are friendly most of the times. You choose one of 4 races (Humans, Centaurs, Magi, Borgs) and two genders. The gender you choose will determine what kind of attributes you will have (Males are attack-oriented and Females are defense-oriented). The combat is turn-based but it is not as slow as some turn-based games. The game does have a very old feeling to it, and the old graphics and the sound seem very old as well. The game also has a couple of technical issues, specially latency on the game servers, and sometimes is it difficult to connect to them. The client is unstable as well, which is sometimes annoying. The game itself is free, but outdated. You will probably do better trying the newer games of the franchise.
